Abstract

The present work is devoted to revealing kinetic regularities of CO oxidation using palladium black (Pd/c) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) with the addition of 0.1 and 0.04 mass.% palladium as catalysts. The initial pressures of CO and O2 were: PCO=(0.13-0.1.33) and PO2=(2.67-16) kPa. The reaction was studied in the temperature range of (70-210)°C. Small addition of Pd (0.04-0.1 mass.%) to Al2O3 led to a significant increase in catalytic activity.
